Still big problems with Turkish football

Not sure that Bulut will want to go back to Turkey, whether he gets offered a new contract with us or not.

Still massive problems with football over there.

It was the Super Cup Final today, Galatasaray v Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce were unhappy with security arrangements around the fan violence with their recent game against Trabzonspor so put out their U19 team today in protest. Broadcasters demanded a full refund from the Turkish authorities.


Galatasaray scored after one minute and the Fenerbahce U19s walked off the pitch so the match was abandoned with Galatasaray being awarded the win.

Galatasaray ended up playing against their own reserves so the fans in the stadium had some football to watch.
