Bulut has also said that now play-offs are out of sight, youngsters will at last get their opportunity to show what they can do.

The defeat by Hull on Saturday put paid to any embers of hope Cardiff still harboured about getting into the top six this season. While Bulut himself doesn't know if he will be here next season, he believes it is pragmatic to at least give the players the opportunity to impress in case that proves to be the case.






The likes of Cian Ashford and Joel Colwill have impressed for the under-21s all season and, with nothing riding on these final five games, it is high time they are utilised before the season is over.


EROL BULUT:

“From now we can think about bringing some youngsters in, to see at least if they can be possible options for the new season for Cardiff City," Bulut said after the defeat.

"The market is not easy, you can't always spend big amounts. So you have to work well in the academy and bring some players up. We did it this season with Ollie Tanner and a few games we have had Ashford on the bench, but he didn't get minutes. Or Joel Colwill. But I hope in the coming games we can use them."

Bring in youngsters doesn't mean 15 mins at end game from the start is what's required can always sub them with 15mins to go..

Pointless bringing them on for 20mins won't learn sfa... doesn't matter if lose all the games as long as he says I'm playing them because will be in squad next season? Fans will understand this rather than us losing 2-0 then bring on for few minutes games time.....let's just hope he starts them
