To be fair, as that article says, there are a few factors that meant they lost money.
They’re building a new stand, have paid for a new temporary stand and have increased running costs in the EFL compared to non league.
I have always said that the problems for them will come if/when Reynolds and McElhenney get bored.
But owing a sum of that to their owners is not unusual. Many clubs will have big debts to their owners - us included.
Put it this way, they are nowhere near the point they’d be breaking rules so I really don’t think this is a concern for them at all.

There still in with a chance of back to back promotions - which will bring in more money and attention to the storey .

From the look of it they are in a very healthy position. They have owners that are backing them and, as a club, they only owe them £17m
Hypothetically if Wrexham were to be sold (at say £40m) they would easily be able to pay their debts.
They are looking healthy in my eyes
