One of our midfielders from the early 70's has died - aged 70. He was a decent player who used to get stuck in and was a good ball winner. RIP Billy.

Got the 3 goal when we beat Sunderland 1972 facup. 2nd replay in man city main road. Excellent scoring record 73 goals in 298 games. Likes of him would be good now in midfield

Interesting reading about him,,, a Glaswegian, and a Jimmy Scoular signing from Aston Villa.
He played fourty two league and FA cup games over two seasons (1971:72), scoring five goals in total.
