Would you get rid of these two next season?

Sun Mar 17, 2024 11:12 am

High wages and for me not consistent:

Bowler never consistent and plays one good in every 3-4 games

And Meite I would not be bothered if he pulled on a City shirt again. Absolutely not up to it.

How the hell we signed Meite he was finished

Yep both of them.

Specially Meite. His outburst yesterday unsettled the team and the rest is history.

Surprised meitie hasn’t done a lot better.

I would let them both go personally.

Bowler shows glimpses of a great player but in truth he is a one trick pony that doesn't perform consistently

Bowler has shown absolutely nothing this season (apart from his goal).

Meite tries hard but lacks the quality (and the ability to control his temper after yesterday).

I've always liked Bowler (at Blackpool) I'd like to see him played on his correct left side, instead
of this inverted winger nonsense.

Mete waste of space

Bowler is on loan so yes he can go back,Meite will be replaced with better.

I'd lose both, Meite works hard but we should be aiming for better quality players. He should have stayed down in league 1 which is his level.

Bowler I really don't like. He's the biggest pussy we have in the team, his tracking back is non existent, he can't cross and he's a full backs dream coz u know exactly where he's going everytime he gets the ball. If he was available on a free I still wouldn't take him. We should mix it up on the right wing now and experiment in the final 8 games.

Both gota go ,
Bowler has the odd good game but it’s not enough
We need much better quality

Agree re Meite but Bowler doesn't have the pace to go outside a full back. He's shown very little in his spell here so I'd send him back and hopefully sign a real pacy winger.

Yes, a waste of squad space.

AS you said Bowler is on loan - So would think he would go back .

For me, Bowler has replaced Ojo in my list of City players who fail to impress on a regular basis - spends far too much time adjusting his headband, wears stupid gloves, and like others say, doesn't really offer a threat on the wing. He is far too soft, and whilst this may not be the actual case, gives the impression of not trying too hard.

When you see the effort, pace and tracking back of Grant on the other wing, there is literally no comparison.
