Luton the example?

Wed Mar 13, 2024 8:04 pm

Luton are 2-0 up at Bournemouth tonight.

As it stands, they’ll move out the bottom three.

Are they the example for when/if we get back there?

They play to their strengths and don’t focus too much on pretty football.

On the other hand, Sheffield United and Burnley have failed miserably.

I'd like to see them stay up at the expense of Everton.

They have done well by sticking to how they play and taking a risk by signing players like Barkley who has been immense for them.

Not sure any team is the example it really is about having right manager right players and playing to teams strengths? That is something we failed miserably on when we were there... tbh on both occasions we had wrong managers! Malkie didn't have clue on assembling a team despite lots money... warnock had history of failing in premier league and his tactics cost us in the end at Fulham... I'm not sure bulut will keep us up if we did go up under him going on mid season tactics. ...

Bournemouth come back from 3-0 to make it 3-3.....65mins gone

Would love Luton to stay up and Sheffield United to come straight down. The former have stuck to their guns, whilst the latter have been a Derby county-style embarrassment overall...

Beyond that, I'm not bothered... :ayatollah:

Sven if you look at his Ipswich goals not one has been a winning goal and if you take out his goals they would have still won with exception of Rotherham where they drew.....

Nope haha. They’ll go straight back down, no better than we were in our two times in the Prem.

We were better we only came down because of the Sala flight, it affected Warnock and we obviously missed out on the 2nd best goal scoring striker in France that half season.
