I went to Evesham United v Paulton Rovers last night and the terracing was just scaffolding :lol:

"Persons using this terracing do so at their own risk"

Pure luxury compared to years gone by!
Even grandstand at ninian Park was bad totally wooden and unsafe....anfield worse of them all have medical episode at back away end you are fcked....

The very back of the old Grangend took some beating. The last two or three planks used to overhang the garden underneath- a sheer drop of nearly 100 feet I would guess. When we used to bounce up and down singing "Knees up Brian Clarke" or "Those were the days" they would bounce with us. God knows how it never broke :lol:

I am showing my age here as I didnt realise that stands like this were the norm back in the day!

Fair play to Evesham, at least it was all good quality and sturdy enough ...... for the 167 in attendance!
