Updated:

Erol Bulut thinks Jak Alnwick will be back available for the game against Ipswich on Saturday, however both Callum Robinson and Kion Etete won't be ready until after this month's international break.

Speaking about Robinson, who looked a little rusty while playing 45 minutes for the under-21s this week, Bulut said: "Maybe not for Saturday. I think he will be ready after the international break. That's why we let him play (for the U21s) to get fit."

Jak Alnwick is fit and available to face Ipswich this weekend.

TEAM NEWS:

Etete will take a fitness test tomorrow.

McGuinness still with physio.

Alnwick is ok again

Callum Robinson is fit, but just not ready yet.

Ramsey hopefully April fully back playing.

The Opposition's Manager

Kieran McKenna was appointed Ipswich manager in December 2021.

Last season he got them promoted from League One and they are in a good position at the moment to get promoted to the Premier League.

This is his first senior management job but he did coaching work at Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Opposition Dangerous Players

Kieffer Moore is the name we will all know. He has scored five goals in eight games since joining Ipswich on loan.

Nathan Broadhead is also known to us due to his appearances with Wales. He scored against us in the return fixture.

Head To Head

We lost 3-2 at Ipswich in September, after being 2-0 up.

That was one of two defeats against them in the last five meetings. We have also won two in that time, with the other being a draw.

Team News - Predicted Line-Ups

Ipswich Town: Hladky, Tuanzebe, Woolfenden, Burgess, Davis, Morsy, Luongo, Chaplin, Hutchinson, Harness, Moore

Last Game

We won at home to Huddersfield on Wednesday.

Ipswich won at home to Bristol City on Tuesday night.

Ipswich unlike us go on the front foot and try to score goals. Can only see an away win as they have promotion in their sights and we are safe mid table. They will do the same as what Leeds and Leicester did, control possession and pick us off.

You're spot on, teams have taken 3points away with ease this season. The problem is we don't press any opposition. So better teams just play with us and score two or three goals. The days of getting stuck into the opposition seem to be over. Too be honest this season has been a total bore and I've followed them home and away.

Bluebirds' mixed injury update -

Erol Bulut thinks Jak Alnwick will be back available for the game against Ipswich on Saturday, however both Callum Robinson and Kion Etete won't be ready until after this month's international break.

Mark McGuinness and Aaron Ramsey have both been ruled out until after the upcoming break in fixtures and now Bulut has confirmed forward duo Robinson and Etete will join them.

Speaking about Robinson, who looked a little rusty while playing 45 minutes for the under-21s this week, Bulut said: "Maybe not for Saturday. I think he will be ready after the international break. That's why we let him play (for the U21s) to get fit."

Quizzed on whether either of Alnwick or Etete would be available, the manager added: "Jak, yes. Etete, I think also after the international break."

Nathan Broadhead could return from injury against Cardiff City this weekend, following a late fitness test.

The Welshman hasn't played since limping off after the 3-1 home win against Birmingham City, and missed the next two matches for the Tractor Boys.

With 11 goals to his name, Broadhead was a big miss for the club, and his return could make the side even deadlier going forward.

After Tuesday's win against Bristol City, McKenna said: "Nathan has stepped up his recovery this week, so he's not too far away from involvement this weekend. We'll have to see how he is today."

After our 10 points 12 I see this as a free hit,all be it a very difficult free hit.Not a lot to really lose today apart from getting really embarrassed if things did get ugly in a rout.
They score goals but concede them too,our defence has been ok lately so let’s get at them.3-2 to The Blooobirds :bluescarf:

My guess is we are going to get battered down the wings due to there full backs being the opposite to ours with the ball. Crosses galore going in maybe to moore who will probably score but they paid fir him and we didnt. I can't see us getting a sniff in this game even if we went 2 nil up I'd still be nervous as we play so slow and backwards passes with the ball most the time and have been lucky to win the last three in my opinion.

Let's hope I'm wrong :bluescarf:

Get at them from the off we need to

Another huge chance! The corner falls to Bowler, who smacks a volley on goal. Ng has to turn it in but he doesn't get a clean connection - it's cleared off the line!
