Major incident at Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium as fire crews called to tackle blaze

Fire services have been called to tackle a blaze next door to Southampton's St Mary's stadium.

It has been reported by the Daily Echo that large plumes of smoke were spotted from a nearby industrial estate.

Surrounding roads were closes while emergency crews dealt with the incident.

The fire is situated to the south of St Mary's stadium, with the factory that's ablaze on Melbourne Street.
