Irish boxer this morning took a major step towards unifying the Women's Lightweight World Championship after the referee stepped in to stop her fight against highly rated and previously undefeated Brazilian Rose Volante in the 8th Round of their fight in Philadelphia, USA
A solid and commanding display saw Volante on the floor in Round 1 and Taylor pretty much control the fight throughout
Taylor now ads the WBO title to her existing WBA and IBF titles and is looking for a unification fight against Belgium's WBC Champion, Delfine Persoon on the Anthony Joshua undercard in New York on 1st June
Should be some night over there...!
