Cardiff now face Wolves on Saturday after successive defeats to Watford and Everton

Cardiff City will be boosted by the return of midfielder Victor Camarasa against Wolves, as Neil Warnock provided an injury update following his side's 3-0 defeat to Everton.

Several Bluebirds stars missed the game, Cardiff's second successive defeat at home, including the Spaniard — who's ongoing absence with a calf injury has been a sore point for Warnock.

Oumar Niasse, Joe Ralls and Harry Arter also played no part in the contest, though Warnock said "everybody should be available, hopefully, for the weekend now."

The Cardiff boss was critical of some players after the Everton defeat before insisting he needs players "in the trenches" with him at Molineux this Saturday.

"Two of three let me down — and I won't have that — we'll be strong now," he said.

"I don't want anyone who's not in the trenches with me on Saturday. We've got to stand up and be counted now. That goes for everyone."

Warnock was then asked whether Camarasa was one of those players ready to fight in the trenches for the rest of the season.

The on-loan Real Betis midfielder — who has been one of the Bluebirds best players this season — hasn't started a game since January 19.

"He'll be alright on Saturday because his advisors say he's fit for Saturday," said Warnock, who had spoken angrily about Camarasa's medical team in his pre-Everton press conference.

But he had no doubts Camarasa will return fully committed to the cause.

"Yes when he plays. I can't fault him," Warnock said.

"He's an excellent player, gives us a bit more class than we've got usually. Doesn't shirk. One of the ones you want alongside you — I just hope he doesn't wear his gloves on Saturday, I'm not sure about that."

He then explained why Arter and Ralls missed the Everton game.

"I felt (Harry Arter) was disappointing on Friday night second half," Warnock added.

"I just felt we needed a bit of a change, I wanted to get Bobby Reid in the team.

"And Rallsy had got a bit of a pelvic problem as well.

"We were a little bit short in (midfield), but I don't think that was the reason they scored the goals. It was just mistakes again.

"We've got to regroup now and go down there and get a result. I think we're quite capable of upsetting the odds."
