SKY NEWS CLAIM EVIDENCE AGENT DID ARRANGE FLIGHT

Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:37 pm

Emiliano Sala’s fatal last flight was arranged by a top football agent, it has been revealed.
By Nicholas Bieber (19th February 2019)

The doomed plane that was due to fly Sala from former club FC Nantes to Cardiff was organised by Willie McKay and his sons.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock was on board two of the flights organised by the football agent family McKays during the negotiation stage.

After the deal was tied up, the McKays arranged the final flights for Sala to return to France to say goodbye to his former teammates before going back to Cardiff.

It is claimed Willie and his son Mark felt they were doing Sala “a favour” by organising the final flights after he signed a £15million deal for the Welsh club.

The revelations come in documents seen by Sky News that allegedly suggest Cardiff City knew that the McKays had organised the last flights.

This is despite Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman saying in the immediate aftermath of the crash that the club did not know who had arranged the flight.

The documents include a timeline of events extending back to December, from when Cardiff City bosses flew over on the hunt for new players, to the deal being tied up.

It shows that the McKays first flew a delegation from Cardiff, including Warnock and assistant manager Kevin Blackwell, to Nantes on December 5, 2018.

The initial focus of the trip was to watch a match between FC Nantes and Marseille, and to discuss two Marseille players with the club's director of football.

But Sala scored in a 2-1 victory for Nantes and impressed Warnock.

So Warnock was reportedly flown - again by the McKays - to Nantes to meet Sala and his agent Meissa N'Diaye before being flown back to Cardiff on January 8, 2019.

Sala was flown to Cardiff to have a look around the stadium on January 14, reports Sky News, and returned again on January 18 for a medical and to sign a contract.

Willie’s other son and Cardiff player Jack McKay then arranged for Sala to fly back to Nantes to say his goodbyes before returning to Cardiff in time to make his debut for the Newcastle game.

But tragically the Argentinian striker and pilot David Ibbotson were both killed when their light aircraft crashed in the English Channel on January 21.

So was Sala's freebie flight part of the deal or will they say they did it for free as a consequence of the business we put their way. Could be crucial although it wont alter their requirement to engage properly experienced / licenced planes and pilots with the necessary insurance cover in place to reflect the value of their cargo. This should be a case of the respective insurers of all sides getting together and agreeing their extent of liability. The fact that's not happening is an indication there's missing or inadequate cover somewhere along the line.

Why is this bit important?

A plane had just gone missing finding out who booked the flight was surely not relevant at that time was it?

Saying we don’t know was surely the sensible thing to do pointing fingers in the immediate aftermath wouldn’t of helped anything or anybody and diverted attention from the important thing or finding the plane.

It would of been almost as inconsiderate as demanding money as a body is being pulled out of the wreckage of a crash.

hmmmm

It states ‘Cardiff City knew that the McKays organised the flight’........ there are a lot of people who work for Cardiff, it leaves it as an open answer so my question is who at Cardiff knew?

MD states he didn’t know who arranged the flight...... he stated in the beginning that Cardiff offered a seat on a commercial flight which Sala turned down only saying he had something sorted.

All I’ve seen from the past couple of days with the McKays is them trying to pass blame to take the limelight off of them

Hopefully the French police have found something whilst all this is going on.

Sky News evidence is most probably the letter everyone saw yesterday as they are like WoL who get their stories a day after by reading other papers
