Does anyone know if the money due for a sell on clause has to be paid to the former club upfront or is it paid in installments as the second club receives its payments, thanks

You suspect it wil be inline with how buying club pays selling club! If up front payment it will be due then otherwise it will be negotiated with payment structure.. several clubs have had embargo for failing to honour sell on payments as scheduled
