Cardiff 'submit substantial offer' for Camarasa

Is there finally a piece of good news here for Cardiff City?

16/01/19

If reports in Spain are to be believed, then yes. Murcia Deportivo are reporting that the Bluebirds want to sign him permanently with a £12million offer on the cards.

It’s also reported that his parent club Real Betis and the player himself want to wait until the end of the season before deciding his future.

I personally believe the last line, they want to wait till May :thumbright:

They should sell him now. If we are relegated come May then i don't believe he would want to sign for us, regardless of what Betis want.

If this comes off it frees up a loan place

Release clause. Simple. We go down he can leave for 6M.

Spanish site reports Betis want 25 million €
Excellent player but that fee is ridiculous.

You'd probably get him for around 17M £ then

I think we can have as many loans as we want from outside of the English league so doesn't effect it really....unless im misunderstood.

Yes but we can only have THREE loans altogether in the match day squad. So in our starting 11 and the bench we can only have 3 loands.

Harry Arter & Camarasa already take up 2 of the 3 spaces, leaving only 1 space currently.

You are correct, we can only have 2 loans from the premier league or championshi but as many as we like from abroad.

What I like about this story.... if true.... is that the player must be happy here.

As long as we stay up he's happy anyway.

FFS I’m glad your not doing our transfer dealings.

Probably for all parties if it’s left until the end of the season.

If we go down, then he won’t stay obviously.

We we stay up, our club will know exactly how much they can off Betis and how much they would be willing to play the player.

We have him until the end of the season anyway, I’m sure that Warnock said he can’t be recalled.

i'm almost certain he won't be here next season.

in any case there's no need to be attempting to do a deal now as we need to concentrate our efforts on signing a striker, right back and centre mid.

What’s the point of doing the deal now when we need a minimum of three players to stay up! We can make Victor and Arter our first two signings next season when we have another 100+ million?

Because lots of teams will want to sign him in the summer so if there’s a chance to get it done an dusted then why not?

Sign him and build the team around him. He's that good.

He's been a great loan signing for us this season .

If Reid and Murphy are worth 10m then Victor is worth at least 15!

That's right would be a great signing. I have this feeling though with camarasa that he don't want to be here next season. Not saying he's not enjoying it here, but think he prefers Spain. If we go down he will defiantly be off.
