Any ideas what's the current situation with his fitness?
If he's not going to play this season can't we pay him up till the end of the season and cancel his contract, but resign him before next season so it frees up a squad place for a signing?

or maybe just not pick him in the 25 ?
think he is out of contract end of seson anyway.

Seems a lot of easier than paying up a contract only to sign the same player a few months later
