Niasse from the start we need to go for this game would be nice to score first rather than chasing because we have been to reserved reid on if CAMARASSA is injured or as an alternative to patters.

Martin Fisher: John F. Kennedy was still America's President the last time Cardiff City won a league game on Tyneside. They've lost their subsequent nine visits but perhaps they'll never have a better chance to end that dismal record.
St James' Park has been anything but a fortress for Newcastle United - eight defeats already surpassing their total of seven for the
WHOLE of last season.
Still the Geordies flock there, more in hope than expectation. That hope is wearing thin and they can expect an almighty scrap against Neil Warnock's men, who have only conceded in one of their last four league games.

Penalty shout
The hosts are adamant they should have a penalty after Perez appears to bobble the ball onto Bennett’s arm. It definitely hits his hand, but I’m not too sure how much he would have known about it.

1-0 Newcastle

Our defenders just stood there
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:27 pm
Let me guess. Cardiff are just sitting back away from home again?
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:27 pm
Plenty of time....Come on City!!!!
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:28 pm
The whole team should be fined a weeks wages for letting a centre back run (basically walked) from the half way line and score like that. Shocking defence. Worse than Sunday league
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:28 pm
Ffs how many times will this happen? Ran 30yds unchallenged no threat when picks ball up just kept running until put ball in net.. as for crosses same old stuff straight to keeper everytime. But plenty of time to correct things.

Defence again.
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:29 pm

Sunday league team would have taking him down
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:30 pm
That goal shows the problem when you change the team too much in important areas. There was no communication between bamba and Bennett in the defence and without Arter or Gunnarsson we had no protection in front of them.
Why don't we just go for it and attack these teams they are poor
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:30 pm
Team line up was awful I said in another thread Gunnarsson should start he wouldn’t have let that happen. I said 2-0 Newcastle but could be a big defeat this we don’t know how to attack
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:32 pm
The Bluebirds are enjoying a nice spell of possession since the goal, but the final ball’s not been great. They win a corner after Yedlin launches into a clumsy challenge to try and disposses Hoilett. It’s whipped in deep and Dubravka claims.

Not sure gunnerson would have helped to be honest. It’s happened several times with him in the team..
Our forwards are just feeding ons scraps. Camarasa is trying but there’s nothing there for him.
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:36 pm
We are not even in the game against one of the worst teams in the league which shows how rubbish we are. Another game which is over before half hour
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:38 pm
Lot of aimless balls to Paterson who is not a premier league striker. Poor set piece balls lifted in and easily saved by their goalie. Hoilett Can't go down the line as he is outpaced by their full back. Nothing new there. Never mind only 1-0 so we live in hope. (37 mins).
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:39 pm
Doesn't matter what players we bring in we will always play this negative football and that's down to are manager
Sat Jan 19, 2019 3:40 pm
Game over. Arsenal away next we could be a few points away from safety by then and I can’t see ya recovering from that kind of position (realist alert don’t get offended)
