CARDIFF CITY FC STATEMENT

Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that following conversations with Leicester City FC and the Premier League, Saturday’s fixture will take place as scheduled.

Further information, including ticket details, will be released in due course.

Cardiff City FC Executive Director & CEO, Ken Choo, said: “Following Saturday evening’s terrible events at King Power Stadium, the thoughts and feelings of Leicester City FC are at the forefront of our minds. As such, we will be offering our support to Leicester City in any way necessary in respect of this weekend’s fixture.”

LEICESTER CITY FC STATEMENT

Leicester City’s Premier League fixture at Cardiff City this Saturday (3 November) will go ahead as scheduled, as the Club continues its tributes to its late Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

A minute’s silence will be observed before kick-off at the Cardiff City Stadium and players will wear black armbands in Khun Vichai’s honour.

An announcement on the rearrangement of the Club’s EFL Cup Fourth Round tie against Southampton, postponed earlier this week, will be made in due course.

PREMIER LEAGUE STATEMENT

Leicester City’s Premier League fixture at Cardiff City will go ahead as planned on Saturday 3 November.

The decision comes after consultation with Leicester following the devastating events on Saturday evening when owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and four other people lost their lives in the helicopter crash outside King Power Stadium.

As a mark of respect, players will wear black armbands at all Premier League fixtures this weekend. Clubs will also pay tribute by holding a minute’s silence.

A number of clubs will also be marking Remembrance Day 2018 at these fixtures.

Over the weekend the Premier League made a statement in honour of the five who tragically died.

Think its best, otherwise their next game will be at home which could be worse.
Well done Leicester a brave decision.

Leicester game is going ahead as scheduled, so the question is, what sort of tribute shall we do?

Do we get blue and white cards in the Canton that spell LCFC as the players walk out?

Or do we just all have blue and white scarves along with the Leicester fans?

Thoughts?

why would the Leicester fans/players/directors or the media think that Cardiff fans holding blue and white scarves up and singing OUR anthem during the game be a mark of respect..?

DOGFOUND
because its on the 60th minute the Leicester owners age and i am sure the fans and any jo soap would twig if people all stood up on 60 mins and held there scarfs aloft singing the anthem that something was happening just as when you hear applause sometimes at football grounds at some random time that its a tribute to something or someone.

Observe the minutes silence and wearing the black armbands is enough
