" Let’s talk attendances "

A weekly talking point when it’s all doom and gloom yet not much mentioned at he moment, nearly 30,000 Saturday for a team rooted to the bottom without a win all season, 3 defeats on the bounce at home and Fulham hardly the most glamorous of opposition. They will soon lose interest I am hearing, well they aren’t losing interest whatsoever they are coming back for more in their droves.

Why? For a start and am open to debate, even before Saturday the experience has been good. The crowd the passion on the pitch, I have personally found it more enjoyable as a whole than last year. We are being entertained, we are certainly competing and without getting carried away we do have some quality we just needed to find that balance. Without doubt Cardiff at home will be no walk in the park.

I expected near 30,000 average but that will be exceeded, while some of it is true my theory of results will be the only thing that brings them back has been proved wrong. The us against the world mentality has almost galvanised the entire fan base, like it was a lot will say.

I see kids wearing city shirts and when we are united as a fan base we are difficult to compete with, it makes you wonder what would be achieved with a established team.

Am not naive, it’s new for some and the excitement the prem brings and while I love the championship nobody can say the match day experience is better than it’s been this year.

Man united home will take things to a different level, Cardiff are back and you better believe it.
You have to go through the bad times to appreciate the good times!!!

Noise and atmosphere so far by Cardiff fans has far exceeded what anyone would have thought :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Gareth stated by myself and many on here before the season started, City will average at least 31,000 this season :thumbright: :bluebird:

We always knew we would fill our stadium in the Premier, every Premier League club does when they go up for the first two seasons, if and we should all say if we go down this season, thats when it really matters, these fans need to still turn up and support the BLUEBIRDS, there is no reason why they should not if they follow Cardiff City :thumbright: :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Also it shows money is not the problem or the 101 excuses used last season, we also now sell out all our away games :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

As you know Gareth on here we had to beg them to turn up last season and City had to lower their prices sometimes as low as £5.

AMAZING SUPPORT THIS SEASON/ BUT WE KNEW THAT WOULD HAPPENED / STAY WITH THE MIGHTY BLUEBIRDS FOR THIS SEASON & FUTURE SEASONS :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Right now the atmosphere is the best I've seen it (home and away) since we moved into the CCS.

I'm getting a buzz at games now that I haven't had in a long time because that spirit in the fans seems to be back. When we've gone down this season the fans have stood up and got behind the team :bluescarf:

I’ve always said we’ve got the fan base to be a top club in the Premier League,we just need to stay up this season and build each season to become an established Premiership team, anything is then possible just ask Leicester fans!

I can't really see that the stadium design enhances the acoustics, so the noise levels being talked about are purely down to the fans.
Before Saturday even in defeat the atmosphere has been mentioned during commentary and in the written media, but the Fulham game surpassed anything to date this season.
It was nice to read of Cardiff's fervent, raucous & ultimately delirious support that greeted Harris's goal.
Long may it continue!

My mate went to his first ever game on Saturday- he thought it was awesome.
I’ve told him it’s not like that every week

Still 11th highest average attendance in Premier League at 31090,just ahead of Wolves and just below Leicester, wonder what these clubs would get if they’d been in the relegation zone this season. 10th place is beckoning as we climb the league!

the only thing in the post im not sure about is Man Utd home...I know a number of flexi ticket holders and members without tickets and also ST holders that have bought tickets for Dai/ Harry their man utd mate who is an ok bloke......really hope im wrong but I fear an afternoon of ejections and arguments..
