NEIL WARNOCK:
Must-win against Fulham?
We’ve got three out of four home games which are vital and we’ve got to get points to put us back in the back. We’ve had opportunities to get more points but we’ve got to grasp those opportunities now, we can’t be moaning about it.”
NEIL WARNOCK:
Injury news
"Ironically Joe Ralls was bad when he got sent off and we’ve done some checks and he’s chipped a bone in his knee, so he’ll be out for a few weeks. He could have told me that"
"(Alex) Smithies has had a bad shoulder injury and he’ll be back on the bench tomorrow. (Gary) Madine has got a virus so he’s struggling and on top of (Danny) Ward it means we’re short in the striker area. (Aron) Gunnarsson has done some work and he’ll be involved tomorrow. Start or on the bench, we’ll decide that tomorrow."
Neil Warnock's thoughts on Fulham
NEIL WARNOCK:
"I did think they would be mid table if I’m honest, with the amount of money they’ve spent. But it shows that money doesn’t always talk. But they’ve got some tremendous players, a lad on loan who cost £30m last season. It’s about consistency, getting those players knitted together. I like the manager too, he’s a solid bloke.”

Neil Warnock on Fulham's danger man
NEIL WARNOCK:
"If we’d had got Mitrovic, we’d be in a better position than we are now. We couldn’t afford him but he can handle himself, he’s a threat and wants to play. It’s a good test for us. We were told last year how good Fulham were but it didn’t phase us."
"It’s different now as we didn’t spend that kind of money, but we’ve got to keep firing and the lads have to come up with a clean sheet and a couple of goals. Money isn’t everything but if we’d had signed a Mitrovic we’d have been sorted. It’s difficult at this level unless you’ve got that £20m-£30m.”
Neil Warnock feeling the pressure?
NEIL WARNOCK:
"If we were playing poorly, I could grasp it, but we’re not. We’re playing quite well! We’ve got to work a bit harder to create and have that desire to get points from these three games, we’ve got Leicester and Brighton as well."
"It looks bleak, we’re 1-4 for relegation but the pleasing thing for me is that the training is fantastic and I’ve been in groups where you get a bad taste in the mouth. It’s frustrating for me as I know we can get better results and should be on eight or nine points.”
Crunch time for Cardiff?
NEIL WARNOCK:
"Definitely. You look at the fixtures in the past few weeks and you can forgive one or two. But even the Chelsea game I was disappointed we didn’t come away with something. The only game we’ve been battered in is Man City. So we’ve been amongst it. As long as the lads give everything, we can get the results.”
Worth betting on Cardiff to stay up?
NEIL WARNOCK:
"If I was a betting man, no I wouldn’t. But I wouldn’t put a penny on us getting promotion last season.”
NEIL WARNOCK:
The latest on Danny Ward and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing
NEIL WARNOCK:
"Not as bad as we thought. He (Ward) might start training within a couple of weeks."
"Mendez-Laing is doing really well in the gym, working hard."
"They are on the way back but at the moment, we can’t consider these guys.”
