Thought Murphy would be in. Been outstandingly good in pre season probably our best player in them

Hope it’s 4-2-3-1 with Bamba in midfield as Peeltier can’t play as a wingback in a back 5.

In Neil we trust but... Murphy was head and shoulders our best attacking player against Real and on fire in the friendlies. Must be rewarding last year’s players? Presumably Zohore injured to be behind Ward and Madine.

Didn’t expect that team. Murphy MOM last week & scores a stunner is left on the bench, Sol midfield & no Zohore! A strange selection to say the least. Just hope it works!

I think it'll be set up more as a back 5 without wingbacks. Bamba stepping forward when needed. Direct diagonal balls behind the defence relying on the 3 guys' pace and they will also keep interchanging to keep defence guessing. This was effective Vs Betis and countered well.

Only issue is Paterson will look lost and nobody will know where he's playing! Although, that could be an advantage.

Bit worried about Reid up top on his own. If we're under pressure and need an outlet not sure he can hold the ball up.

Thinking this will get the best out of lang knowing murphy's waiting in the wings, bring murphy on later when bournmouth start flagging and with murphy's speed could make a difference
