Cardiff City first team will head to Scotland as part of their pre-season preparations, it has been confirmed.

The first team squad will come up against Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton FC on Tuesday, July 31.


The clash, which takes place just over 20 miles from Glasgow, will be the Bluebirds' second to last fixture before their Premier League campaign kicks off.

It comes after confirmation earlier this week that a pre-season fixture with Spanish side Real Betis will be held at Cardiff City Stadium.

Greenock! Wrong side of the country for me for an evening kick off!!

Will have to look into it!

Clydebank blue should be pleased though, right near you mate!!

Will suit a few of our lot but I’m up in Aberdeen these days so will need a bit of planning and a night at the old dears!
