I'd be happy with this, but I see Wolves are in for him also?

Can't see us competing with them wage wise tbh

Wolves have loads of strikers though last seasons lot and Afobe as well, can't see him being anywhere near first choice at Wolves. Suppose if they are offering more money and he is happy to spend most of the season sitting on a bench he would go there.

He might be a decent signing but I don't get the huge love for this guy. Fair play he's a prolific championship striker but his goal scoring record since moving to hull looks like this (24 games 4 goals Prem) (39 games 20 goals Champ) (24 games 4 goals Prem) (10 games 8 goals Champ) So his record shows he's probably not the guy to get the goals for us in the prem considering he averages 4 goals in the prem. Top championship striker but doesn't seem good enough at Prem level from his past history. But who knows?

Interesting this does suggest he can’t cut the mustard in the Prem, but is it because the team he has been in isn’t good enough to create the chances for him, would we be the same not being able to create chances hmm

Thing is we are not going to score alot of goals. So we need to have a solid defence, and nick a goal here and there.

Abel Hernandez?

20/06/18

It has seemed for weeks that out of contract Hull City striker Abel Hernandez is heading to Leeds United.

But with a new manager in situ at Elland Road - Marco Bielsa - could Cardiff City hijack the move?

Football Insider say the Bluebirds, along with Wolves, are in the hunt for the Uruguayan, who would be an excellent free transfer for many teams. We shall see.
