..over the top to day the least. We've come unstuck due to a blind ref and some uncharacteristic defensive errors.Like the gaffer said sometimes we just got to go again.

I think we can just all see whats about to happen that`s all .... Fulham will win their last 2 fixtures and we are just not playing well enough to win our 2 .... To me today was a must win game because Hull are in unbelievable form.

The point is, it’s been coming. The defensive errors came from the fact, we can’t keep the ball and so invite wave after wave of pressure meaning eventually we were going to make mistakes.

Yes, the ref had a shocker in the first half but he had nothing to do with our plan of sitting in our penalty box for most of the second half.

Agree with you. Our game plan is like watching a 1960's pin ball machine, the ball kicked and bounced all over the place,,, no control what so ever.

Better teams than us will skilfully play the ball and score goals.

But sitting in our box didn't result in the goals did they? 1st ethridge should let ball go out. 2nd wishut should have kicked ball out but didn't 3rd morrison was weak to say the least? all 3 goals had nothing to do with way we played in fact had madine slotted in easy chance we would not be having this conversation now. Yes we play ugly football most times but it's got us to 2nd place and promotion I'm our own hands

You finish where your meant to finish, if Fulham have more points than us after 46 games that means they are better than us, and visa versa. What we should be asking if, and it’s still I big if, we don’t go up automatically, how will we cope mentally in the play offs ? :bluebird:

I just cant see where the goals will come from. We cant seem to build up any attack. All the teams in the playoffs have some sort if plan with the ball on the ground.

Correct! The issue is the quantity of them.

We were the architects of our own downfall last night, but even after their first goal, we were unable to get back into the game,,, we just couldn't play ourselves out of trouble.

Lets be frank & honest though, we haven't played well since Brentford away, seven games ago, in fact, some of our play has been farcical at times, last nights second half performance just one example of how Not to play football.

That's the biggest problem, three top six teams & nil points to show for it, & if we are in the play offs then we are going to have to play at least one other top six team.

Changes will have to be made for our next game at Hull, & a massive improvement in play, required from everyone!
