Warnock's conspiracy theory for Derby County v Cardiff City game was a joke
By Russell Kempson

The Cardiff boss has suggested Derby called the game off due to a lengthy injury list

Saturday 24th March 2018

I’ve always thought that those who believe in conspiracy theories have a screw loose somewhere.

So it was no surprise to hear that Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock went off on one when their scheduled match at Derby County last Sunday was called off due to snow and ice in the areas surrounding Pride Park.

Fair enough, you might think … but not for Warnock.

He still turned up at the stadium and launched into a tirade for the benefit of the cameras, calling the postponement “disgraceful”.

And he even suggested – not tongue in cheek – that Derby wanted the game called off because manager Gary Rowett was facing an injury crisis and would have had to field a depleted team.

You couldn’t make it up? Anything is possible in the crazy, self-centred world of “Colin W”.

Anyway, to cut short a totally boring story, the English Football League (EFL) has investigated the matter and found that Derby did little wrong.

And the EFL didn’t even mention Warnock’s ridiculous claim that the East Midlands club had engineered the cancellation for Rowett’s benefit.

Why should it? Right from the start, it was a laughable accusation.

I do, though, have a conspiracy theory of my own:-

That Cardiff’s seven victories in a row is the result of the other Championship clubs getting together secretly to agree to allow the Bluebirds to win all their remaining fixtures to gain automatic promotion.

That way, they can rid the second tier of Warnock and his tiresome antics and get on with life in a calm and peaceful manner next season.

Perhaps I have a screw loose, too …

Neil Warnock? Just a natural 'winner' who knows how to take a rise out of his opponents (IMHO) ;) :laughing6:

Got to love the guy right now! :thumbright: :ayatollah: :notworthy:

Is this the same clown who wrote the piece about us taking a gamble extending Warnock's contract, comparing it to Jaap Stam's disappointing second season when his contract was extended?

There's only 7 (hopefully 8 soon) promotions difference!

Hello Mr Kempson as I appreciate you are not an admirer of Mr Warnock as made clear by your historical writing on said manager and have belittled his achievements to date despite his 30 plus years of (perceived) successful management.

It is perhaps the success that Mr Warnock achieves is due to his meticulous planning and attention to detail.

For example if he was a 'journalist' he would proof read a piece with his name attached to it and notice the glaring error where the manager you are trying to belittle is described as Derby County manager. Now I'm sure that to somebody as amateurish as yourself this is acceptable. To Mr Warnock this mistake would not be acceptable. Perhaps this would explain his success in life and your complete obscurity.

Also in your piece of brilliant journalism which fails to point out the EFL findings on Derby Countys shortcomings in the event of the postponement of the game. (Hell why publish the full facts when you have an agenda to adhere to). You refer to Mr warnock as Colin W. I'm sure you find this hilarious and yes Mr Warnocks name is an anagram of Colin W anker as many of the terrace inhabitants know and it is often used as a so called stick by irate fans when their teams have yet again been beaten by a Mr Warnock side. However to find it being written by a 'journalist' in their appraisal of a professional. Oh dear, all those years of struggling through your college of higher education to have to resort to name calling of, lets face it a childish and puerile manner, because you are unable to criticise in a constructive manner as I can only surmise that you are just not very good at your job.

Good luck in your future endeavours, I really doubt that you will achieve the journalistic recognition you think you deserve from these pieces on Mr Warnock. I would hasten to add they are probably regarded as cringeworthy by your contemporaries perhaps that is why you are 'freelance'. I am sure the anonymity that haunts you in your profession must be doubled by the success Mr Warnock gathers each year. I would like to think you would recognise the eighth promotion Mr warnock seeks as a remarkable piece of modern day football achievement. But you won't will you? You will write another piece of 'journalism' that you will laugh at to yourself as you call him a childish name once again whilst anybody who has the misfortune to read such childish drivel will sigh to themselves and dismiss you as pathetic.

Chris, Russell Kempson had a few articles featured in national newspapers and now he writes for GetReading.co.uk! That's his level. Warnock has obviously given the clown a tongue-lashing in the past as Kempson really hates him.

Have a look at these sour-grape 'pieces' he's written previously:

Just like his club, he's a tinpot loser. Weapons-Grade Tosser.

The guy is a non entity trying to make a name for himself. By publishing his views we give him credence. I suggest we all ignore him in the future

Hopefully we can send them down on the last day of the season having previously beaten Derby and prevented them from reaching the play-offs.
