Frederic Gounongbe

The Benin striker is something of a forgotten man at Cardiff as he’s only managed three appearances in the league this season, without scoring.

Despite having a decent scoring record in Belgium, Gounongbe has yet to find the net for the Championship outfit and is sure to move on regardless of what division the Bluebirds are in.

Liam Feeney

Many were surprised to see Cardiff move for Feeney in the summer and whilst he has done okay it would be a surprise to see him in the Welsh capital next season.

Warnock has better options in the final third and Feeney has found game time a lot harder to come by since the productive January window that the Bluebirds had.

Jamie Ward

The forward only joined in January on loan but he has struggled to make an impact and is currently out with an injury that has limited to just one appearance since arriving.

Therefore, there seems little chance of his loan deal turning into a permanent one.

Cardiff fans won’t have anything against the Northern Ireland international but they will see him as a pretty pointless signing

Matthew Connolly

Again, the defenders efforts will have been appreciated by Cardiff but the fans will hope to be a Premier League club next season in which case Connolly won’t be needed.

He has been a decent squad player this year but suffers with injuries and the Bluebirds have better options when everyone is fit.

Signing off with another promotion will be a good way for the 30-year old to leave.

Glad to see the back of? Don't let an unbelievable season get in the way of some negative "journalism".

Well for starters Matthew Connolly has been a City stalwart and I actually doubt Warnock would want to let him go permanently. He's been a fantastic servant and would probably do a great job if called upon for CB again!

Gounongbe hasn't done the business but again Warnock doesn't see it as lack of effort.

Ward was unlucky with injury

Feeney has kept the gap between Fulham from 5 to 7 points... How priceless may that little cross he made at Craven Cottage be?! Always tries - limited at our current level but still he's just a player who gets his head down and waits for his chance.

You have to realise how much players have to ignore media at times. :banghead:

I think the above post is spot on . Why not write an article on the many positive things happening at cardiff ?

Tomlin probably pushed for it and he wasn't in Warnocks plans.
Ward was to bulk the squad up I guess.

Well he wasn’t getting much game time for us, even as sub his game time was very limited.

He clearly isn’t fit enough for Warnock so a move for him to get game time made sense. If he does well and gets fit there is the chance he will come back here ready for the new season or we get a better fee for him.

If he stayed would he have had much game time? I wouldn’t have thought so. I think the Ward loan was an afterthought and Tomlin was going anyway.
