MEXICO Vs WALES in LA

Postby Aberbeeg Blues » Fri Feb 23, 2018 10:20 pm

Anyone thinking of doing this trip in May?

Just booked return flights from Gatwick with Norwegian Air for £360 return

2 nights in Santa Monica (Fab beach and loads of bars) plus 4 nights in a 5 star hotel in Pasadena a mile from the Rose Bowl in the Old Town.

Flights plus hotel £850 in total.

6 nights 7 days

Yes. Holding off booking until last minute though because it clashes with the play off final. As soon as City are either promoted or knocked out then I’m in.

I'm looking at it.

That's the best I've seen so far. Who did you book that with?

Norwegian Air do direct bookings and have excellent prices. Have to add bags on top though and those prices above are superb, if still available :thumbright: :ayatollah:

The Mexican's will fill the stadium and be very nationalistic in light of events in Trump's America. I hope that you have a safe stay there.
I'm looking forward to watching Wales in a month's time in China. :ayatollah:

That's a big holiday weekend here and flights around the country won't be cheap. There's more than enough to see & do in California to keep you busy for a few weeks.

Booked direct with Norwegian Air. Didn't book bags just taking hand luggage.

When we played Mexico in New York their fans were fantastic to us. All wearing green wrestling masks :occasion5:

Santa Monica and Pasadena looks a great combination :ayatollah:

Still good flight prices for this trip :ayatollah:

Santa Monica has one of the highest concentration of bars in LA. Plus there are loads of British/Irish bars located there also.

With a fantastic beach its perfect before heading to Pasadena for few days. :occasion5:

Anyone know where the Welsh are being put in the ground ticket wise? I don't fancy buying tickets just anywhere to find myself surrounded by 20,000 crazy mexicans.

All booked now. Not going out until Sunday so straight into Pasadena - same hotel as team.
Then a road trip down the West Coast to San Diego - with a strategic stop in Cardiff by the Sea :bluebird:
