Cardiff have something of an injury crisis on their hands in the full-back department, with Armand Traore, Lee Peltier, Jazz Richards, Callum Paterson and Joe Bennett all missing Wednesday night's win over Ipswich.
Neil Warnock could switch to a 4-4-2 system here to accommodate Gary Madine alongside Kenneth Zohore up top.
Sean Morrison will miss this clash after picking up an injury against Ipswich, so Greg Halford should step into the heart of the defence.

Bristol City

Lee Johnson could name an unchanged starting XI following Wednesday night's solid 1-1 draw with Fulham.
Marlon Pack is unavailable for the visitors as he serves the second installment if a two-game ban recieved for picking up 10 yellow cards.
Eros Pisano is struggling for fitness so will play no part for the visitors, while Matty Taylor, Milan Djuric, Callum O'Dowda and Jens Hegeler are all sidelined.

Match Facts
Cardiff have seen over 2.5 goals in 10 of their last 12 matches against Bristol City in all competitions. Over 2.5 goals 2.04
Cardiff have won 6 of their last 7 home matches against Bristol City in all competitions. Cardiff win 2.04

Cardiff raced four points clear in the battle for automatic promotion on Wednesday night after becoming the only one of the top six to record a victory last time out, putting them in pole position for second place heading into the business end of the season.

Lee Johnson's men are showing worrying signs that they could be set to fall at the last hurdle, with just one win from nine games leaving them in 6th place, two points clear of Sheffield United in 7th. Fail to win here and the Robins could end the weekend outside the top-six having played a game more than the Blades.

Both sides have everything to play for heading into the final quarter of the season and with injuries piling up, will see their squad depth rigourously tested between now and May. Rampant league form means Cardiff head into this fixture narrow favourites, but the Bluebirds will have vivid memories of November's 2-1 defeat at Ashton Gate in the back of their minds.
