Are you the favourites on v Ipswich?

NEIL WARNOCK:

"You won’t find anyone putting money on us. We’re still underdogs. 14 games to go, four or five points away are Fulham and they have a good chance."
"No one is getting carried away, even the fans, we just have to enjoy it."

"We have turned the season around again, the squad is in a better position now and hopefully in the next few weeks we will get people like Bryson, Gunnarsson and Connolly back for the run-in."

Will City play in luminous green?

Am I right in thinking City have not won an away league game in this horrid shirt? :banghead:

The ref was in charge for our game v Norwich when he gave City 2 penalties, one when he blew prematurely and one when he was hoodwinked by Tomlin.

Thoughts on McCarthy?

NEIL WARNOCK:

"He’s done well. If you’re not the big five or six with the wage bills they have, it’s a very difficult league."

"He’s got them with an outside chance of the play-offs and because I know what it takes, I know how difficult it is."

"You have to be careful what you wish for and you won’t get much better than Mick."

"If I worried about what people said, crikey, I wouldn’t sleep at night. I think we’re providing entertainment at the minute, home and away.'

Ipswich Town v Cardiff City stats

Ipswich have only lost one of their last seven home league games against Cardiff (W4 D2), losing 2-1 in October 2012.

Cardiff’s last league double over the Tractor Boys came in the 1946/47 season in the Third Division South.

After winning nine of his first 11 matches (L2) against Neil Warnock in all competitions, Mick McCarthy has won just one of his last nine (D2 L6).

Warnock has won eight of his last 10 league meetings with Ipswich (D1 L1).

Early chance for Cardiff

Chance. City win an early corner on the right-hand side. Ralls whips in, but it’s headed away. He tries again and it falls kindly for Connolly inside the area, but he can only skew it wide.

Plenty of possession early on for Cardiff - who look for Nathaniel Mendez-Laing early on.

The winger chases to win a throw in an attacking position.

The ball is thrown long towards Kenneth Zohore but the Tractor Boys break through Grant Ward - however the chance comes to nothing.

Warning for the Bluebirds.

A solid start from Cardiff. Neil Warnock’s men have began this game on the front foot.

The sort of start that would silence the home crowd, but, in all honesty, things are a little subdued here anyway as Marko Grujic gets a shot away but it sails over the bar.

Adam Webster floats a delightful cross-field pass into the box towards Jordan Spence who attempts to volley the ball back across goal, but he mis-hits it and puts it wide

Some more good hold up play by Zohore which allows Loic Damour to get a shot away.

The midfielder gets his laces through the ball but it sails away from the goal.

Impressive stuff from Zohore though...

The pitch isn’t exactly helping but both teams are giving the ball away a little too easily at the minute.

I imagine neither Neil Warnock or Mick McCarthy will be thrilled with this spell of careless football...

CLOSE! Great strike from @GrantWard_ from the edge of the box but Etheridge does well to push it behind for a corner
