I have seen this referred to elsewhere before , either in another thread on this board or on another board.
The table is accurate , but a little misleading because it refers to total attendance numbers , not average attendances per match. The Championship has more games per season than most of those other leagues.
If rated by average attendance pre match , I think the Championship drops to something like 7th and the Bundesliga comes top ahead of the Premier League. Even Bundesliga 2 comes in ahead of the Championship based on averages.
