" Neil Warnock talks about Sol Bamba to Sky Sports “

"I wouldn't swap him for anybody in the Premier League or the Championship, he's a colossus.

It's a great platform when you've got a spine like that. When you think we've got four or five of our first-team players coming back in the next few weeks it's given us that incentive today. It's as good a three points as we'll ever get in the circumstances today."

Might seem a bit of a statement, but one of our best ever signings under the circumstances IMO .

I'm getting a Sol Bamba tattoo done on Louise in accounts who I am currently boning.

Zahore and Ward would not have been on the same pitch together if both fit.Richards was not first choice at the start of the season and would have been on the bench today imo. So thats down to 3 out...Manga and Bamba are not second choice players either so Morrison was not missed,,so that's down to 2 out..

You count Tomlin who hasn't really been fit for a large part of the season. Also NML and Paterson are still working their way back after injury,

Kadeem Harris will definitely add to the options even if he doesn't start. Richards has to be a better bet than Peltier who is consistently awful.

Zohore and Ward probably wouldn't stat at the same time but if one is having a bad game then one or the other offers good options to change things from the bench.

The point is it's an eighteen man squad game not just the starting eleven.

Bamba is my absolute hero and has everything a love in a football player. He has passion to burn which makes him such a natural fit at Cardiff City. :notworthy: :notworthy:

The point is we haven't got 5 nailed on first team players injured so why do we keep saying it.So when we get these so called first team players back we are going to improve on winning 5 and drawing 1 on our last 6 games?

Never understood this negative mindset...
The point is, the more '1st team potential players' we have fit and competing for game time, the better.
Counting whether it's 2,3 or 5 is irrelevant.

Hang on its the manager whos saying in every recent interview that we are short of 5 first team players . The
Hull manager did not mention he had 9 first team players out yesterday. The fact is that of our very best first 11 in my view that Warnock would pick over the last 6 weeks only 2 would have started 100 percent. Yesterday it was 3. Its not a negative view. I think we should just get on with saying how well the team has been playing and how any injured players will not automatically come back into the first team when fit. Ward, Richards ,Bryson are in and out of the first team and its arguable that the likes of Pelts,Damour,Bogel are in better form/options than those three . Ward will never play in the same team 11 as Zahore anyway. and Harris will not play ahead of Lang and Hoillit.
Yes it does limit options if things do get ropey with results but that's the time to mention injuries not when you are 6 games undefeated and say you have an injury crisis it just sounds all wrong imo.

the first 3 of those plus bryson..and maybe he sees Paterson as not fully fit who only played the last 10 or so yesterday.
