One fan is still critical
Fans were battered and stripped of their clothes

The fact is,its happened and its happening still regularly in Serbia and people want to see it, other wise their would not be 6,000 views in less than 24hrs.
To me its beyond barbaric, buts all about Politics in Serbia and power and a football match is where they seem to be sorting it out and its accepted over there.

You are quite correct, many of the football is politically influenced and people in positions of power in government are either RSB or Partizan.
All stems from Anti-Fascists and Yugoslav Army in 1945 if I recall correctly, even their Army would fight each other during the Bosnian War and Kosovo...It is far more than football if I remember rightly also Basketball and handball they have a good old ruck.
Makes the Cardiff v Jacks derby game like Toytown party.

You may want to read up on Serbian/Slavic/Balkan history fella, their families would most likely be there as well.
Uneducated, they have following of Doctors, teachers, and very highly educated people who get into this such is the rivalry and political base of it all. It is not just a derby to them it is life itself.
