Reading midfielder Dave Edwards tells Sky Sports:

Postby Forever Blue » Mon Dec 11, 2017 10:14 pm

FT: Reading 2-2 Cardiff

Reading midfielder Dave Edwards tells Sky Sports:

"We're gutted. We were comfortable at the break. We knew there would be an onslaught in the second half.

"We didn't quite play our football in the second half and that's credit to Cardiff - they put us under a lot pressure.

"We're gutted we can't keep our run going. I believe we're one of the best sides in the league. If we want to reach the top six we need to win from those kinds of positions."

I agree with him.
Reading are good side and capable of beating most teams in this league

I'm not so sure. Their goals came from our mistakes. Kermogant isn't vs lone striker and they depend a lot on Barrow. We dealt with him much better when Peltier came on and stayed close to him. Reading aren't that quick at the back either. There are a lot of better teams, including Derby and Brizzle.

That's not how I saw it either, 1 shot on target in the first half and 2 nill up lady luck and the ref were on their side. Comfortable my arse

Kelly should have been booked first half cluckety clucking disgrace after Bogle got a yellow.

I thought they were a poor side and knew once we scored they would be there for the taking.

blokes on drugs..
2 rather fortunate goals after the ref changed the dynamics of the game with half a dozen calls which relieved the presure on them ..and very little else.

Strange how people see things differently. I thought they were a good side . Seen a lot worse this season.

Good player, Dave Edwards, always liked him. Nice to see him giving an honest view, as did Jaap Stam. Not the pathetic whingeing we have been hearing from other clubs.
