I don't think he will be getting his bonus this season or the next

Correct, and I'd guess that he'd be out of a job if he doesn't get them up in two seasons anyway !! Bit of a pointless contract clause :roll: :lol:

Be interesting to see how he copes without Bale, Ramsey, Allan, Woodburn to keep his ship from sinking.

Because they have a shed load more potential than their current position, so if he does a good job there he has a great chance to achieve something at club level

They are going nowhere but league one they may return to the prem in time but that’s a few seasons away and certainly not under Coleman. Stupid move on his part though has never done anything of note at club level anyway.

lol you sound so bitter for some reason, not entirely sure why.

they have every chance of avoiding relegation this season, still plenty of time left, even if they dont perhaps its a chance to get their house in order, look at sheffield united this season

As a club they are huge so yeah lots of potential in that sense, but I feel there's more going on behind the scenes that makes this a huge risk. Everything is screaming out sinking ship. I'd be suprised if he's there for 12 months.

Not bitter at all just think it’s a stupid move on his part this was his biggest chance to get a move to a bigger club (most likely abroad) following on from his sucsess overall with Wales. Now can only see him failing at Sunderland this season getting sacked and then ending up in worse job.

i think its a very shrewd move also..should he fail he will be viewed as just the latest in a long list who have failed to turn it around up there { a few have staved off relegation but not quite turned it around }
but as Paul said there is potential there to make a success of it...success this season from his starting point would be 15th ish.?
