Not sure what that is but wouldn't surprise me.

I'll guess at 16500

Free coaches from the Valleys is a great idea, but to announce it the day before, bit late for me! Crowd of about 19,000 I would have thought, hope I'm proved wrong.
EDIT-the link for the free travel doesn't work for me.

Barry Murphy:
Players deserve a big turnout today, especially as its only home game this month. BUT, due to a variety of "excuses", i doubt we'll hit 18,000. Very poor in my opinion. Do fancy us today tho #CCFC

Not sure why you think it will be a bumper crowd Annis. It's almost certainly going to be a low crowd. I think most people expect that today

Luke, Because its our only home game at 3pm on a Saturday for nearly two months and there has hardly been a home game and City are riding high :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

And its about time there was one :bluebird: :bluebird:

Why should there not be a bumper crowd Luke?

I'm not saying there shouldn't be but attendances have hardly been great previously, add to that the rugby kick off is just before. People can use the word "excuse" as much as they want but the fact or the matter is people choose how to spend their money and Cardiff city isn't the first choice for a lot of people and attendance will be low today, anyone expecting otherwise just isn't be realistic.

What Wales v Georgia a nobody in a friendly poor excuse .

Your bang on Luke, Cardiff is only first choice if they are in the Premier League and for me that's not a fan, it's just glory hunters. Pathetic.

Deep down over the years I have come to realise it, we are not a big club at all.

Your right Annis we are not a big club and that's why I don't expect a big crowd.

I can think of anything worse than watching rugby myself but other people clearly do enjoy it for some reason

Luke, worse than awful.

In front of Cardiff City's lowest home crowd of the season, even though City are the only unbeaten team at home in the Championship.

Sadly an awful attendance of barely 16,000, over 11,000 down on when City beat Leeds United.

Even Pompey had 18,000 mid table lower division.

Ideally it would be higher and no doubt the club deserve higher buts not unexpected. If you really expected 20000 I would suggest lowering your expectations massively.

Leeds a bigger club and top of the table clash at the time and most of all a fiver, that will always grab those who are undecided on going to games.

Luke, I reckon 11,000 fans must of been shopping in ST Davids 2

Forget Leeds home game, most of our crowds are embarrassing unless City virtually let them in FREE

Your right Annis, money is tight for a lot of people so they are going to spend it on the things they enjoy most. We are not different to any other club, the big games will bring out the floating fans.

Hopefully though from December when I think the half season tickets start we should see a slight improvement.

Luke, CARDIFF CITY ARE ONE OF THE CHEAPEST IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

HOW CHEAP DO YOU THINK CITY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP SHOULD CHARGE?

They are £23.50p season tickets for under 16's 12 games, £129 for Adults :thumbright:

Its £18 Adult match & £5 under 16's in Ninian Stand at mom.

Any cheaper and City may as fold.

Re: " BUMPER HOME CROWD TOMORROW "

I think city have the prices about right but that just means your going to get around the 16 or 17k crowd. No one is right or wrong Annis if people want to pay it then they will, if they don't they won't. The demand for tickets just isn't there.

Luke, the demand to watch Cardiff City is not there your 100% right about that and I find that very very sad.
