I know it's an early kick off but any ideas to where we can get a sneaky pint ?

Knights Templar just outside Bristol Temple Meads. I'll be in there straight off the 8.00 train

Here's a suggestion - its a 12 o'clock kick off - watch the match sober for once! :D :ayatollah:

The Robert Fitzharding JDs near Ashton Gate.......now that would be interesting. Im assuming going on previous trips that The knights Templar directly outside Temple Meads will be busy but hate that long police escort to Ashton Gate 45 minutes. Much prefer drinking in the city centre spoons Commercial Rooms. Villa drank in the Rose of Denmark which is about 15 minutes from the ground but a good 30 minutes walk from Temple Meads.

You don't have to go with the police escort if you don't want to. Last year a few of us just waited for OB to rally the fans and move off, whilst having another pint, and then got a taxi to the ground about 20 minutes later.

After having a few early morning scoops I can't walk 2 yards never mind over 2 miles. :thumbright:

Cannot wait for tomorrow . got all the makings of a classic derby game

The Robert Fitzharding operate a 10% discount for Home fans with a season ticket so that will be packed full of Wurzels .

Knights Templar is quite a small spoons and will not have a lot of room to grab a pint as will be rammed before the game . Commercial rooms which is about 5-10 minutes from Temple meads is the best shout .

Avoid - The Masonic , Robins ,Rising Sun , Coopers Arms and Three lions - Be full of stone Island clad kids looking for a bit of nonsense .

The cottage or Nova scotia are both nice pubs down by the waterfront and isn't too far a walk to the ground from there .

Yes I prefer the commercial rooms, big enough, cracking real ale selection and quick serving. Might have a few down in the Nova Scotia around 10.00
