Had high expectations when he signed, and he didn’t disappoint yesterday. Thought he excelled in the 343 system. Bags of pace and an eye for goal. Great cross to Hoillet about 2 minutes after coming on. Got a decent throw on him as well but would prefer him to be attacking them as he looks a threat in the air also. Was our most attacking threat along with NML and Hoillet until we went to 442, which meant he couldn’t get forward as much. Would give him ago as a RW/ST, have him concentrate more on attacking. Peltier should never play in that wing back position again as he was running around like a headless chicken yesterday. Very impressed by Paterson, could be lethal once fully fit.

I was worried he may have been hyped up a little and too much was being expected of him but I can now see what the fuss was about. I thought he looked a great all rounder with energy, pace and strength. With him and NML working together down the right and a fully fit KZ we have the potential to take sides apart.

Will be a real asset as he gets match fit and we no doubt become a regular. Heck of a throw in too.

Paterson will be chomping at the proverbial bit to get playing and hopefully get a start on Tuesday, if not Saturday

Very similar to Gareth Bale , when Bale was 22 and a full back. Very excited about this guy , bags of potential and talent .
