Semi Ajayi (Rotherham) ex Cardiff City player

After loan spells with Wimbledon, Crewe and the Millers, Ajayi made the move away from Cardiff permanent in the summer.

And the 23-year-old defender has impressed at the New York Stadium, featuring 10 times in all competitions for Paul Warne's side who are currently fourth in League One following their relegation from the Championship.

Ajayi netted his first goal since joining the club on a permanent basis in his side's 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Huddersfield in August.

Semi is the one player who left the club whom I thought we could have persevered with a little longer.

He is still relatively young and his all round game is very good. I think he would have fitted in well with NW and useful to have coming off the bench.
