THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK'S EFFECT :

Our 2 losses both came after the break and against sides that on paper we should beat.

Like Preston a lot of the players were well below their best. Warnock should stop telling them that they deserve the rest. This encourages the players to be soft.

Footballers these days are overpaid prima donnas who seem to think that 2 hour traing at 3 days a week + match day(s) is a lot.

Thats bull. Compare them to cyclists , tennis players and many other sports. Psychologically Warnock got it wrong on this one. Cotterill psyched his up for the fight while Warnock psyched them down.

Nobody is perfect. Last night the main culprit for our loss is our super hero Warnock (he also got out-thought by Cotterill) .

Warnock will no doubt come back and get an away victory at Boro, thats how Warnock usually responds when the chips are down :thumbright: :bluebird:

There's no getting away from it, after both international breaks we have been appalling. Obviously the preparation is wrong so I hope that's corrected in November. I can take a loss but watching us be out fought and out run last night was embarrassing. Usually we have a very honest team but a few need to look at themselves from last night.

Even warnock in the pre match interview seemed like he couldn't be bothered so embarrassed to watch that on sky

Quite simply the international.playes were knackered and the rest were given the week off and shouldn't have.

Wayne, how do other clubs manage to get on with it?

Our players seem to not like long distances Preston?
Cant play after Internationals?
Cant play after short holidays?

Looking at the whole picture why are we having to play Bamba in midfield?

I didn't know other clubs gave their non internationals the week off.

We were having holidays while the likes of Brum and Bolton were sorting out their problems.

The rest of our squad should have been playing our formation in case the others came back knackered.

Let's stop trying to blame international break, it's a s**t excuse and players should be used to playing week in week out.. even better our squad had a break for a week or so.
