Portsmouth have sold more season tickets

Portsmouth have sold more season tickets (12,000+) in div one than Wigan's 2016-17 average attendance (11,627) in the Championship.

Whilst it's good for pompey you cannot compare with Wigan? Wigan are a small club and tbf to them they are getting good crowd for a small town surrounded by huge clubs!

I was telling everyone last season, how can you compare Wigan and Cardiff's support away,but the usual posters were having none of it, Wigan are a very small supported football club and always have been.

Football is probably the only business that doesn't work on the basis of supply and demand. We've always craved a solid top flite club that product has rarely been available to us.places like Wigan Bournemouth etc the products been available without there being much demand.
