Leicester City will have to offer at least £40m to even tempt Swansea City into discussing a possible deal for Iceland playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson, 27.

Yeah I'd say £40m sounds about right. Club will hold on for £35m - £40m

Can't see him leaving your club for Leicester, seems a bit of a sideways step. I know they won the league and did well in Europe last year, but likely to return to being a lower Premier League side now.
Everton looks like the most likely destination.

Yeah I don't disagree. Although money talks 100k a week and 10% chunk of the transfer fee as a signing on fee to move to a similar club is still not a bad move. So although I agree, a move to the Foxes still wouldn't shock me. I think he may just stay though, I don't think anyone will cough up the £40m. He's a very good player make no mistake, but he is very replaceable. Most of the danger he possesses is from a dead ball, he is quite immobile and link up play lacks at times. Someone like Jordan Ayew seems far more of a threat in general play.

£40m is probably still a bit shy of what he would be worth if he played for one of the top 6.
