There'll be a reason for that and it will start and end with Neil Warnock!

Players need to 'fit' into a team formation and it seems Huws is not of the Warnock style. Doesn't make him a bad player (he proved that at Ipswich Town) it just means he needs to find a team (or manager) who play a style that suits him

Ipswich town would be a good choice, as they play to his strengths and have no real ambition to threaten the Championship promotion places this coming season! ;) :laughing6:

I'm sure we paid a fee if memory serves, can't remember how much though.

I may be wrong but I think his attitude may have impressed Neil and possibly changed his mind a wee bit when he took a wage drop just to play regular football on loan at Ipswich just reading between the lines from interviews around that point?

Cardiff have accepted a bid from Ipswich

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40405467

The piece also quotes Warnock saying he wants 3 more signings!

When Huws is gone we can start plundering the Rotherham midfield for more additions

I don't really get that either he must have gone to Warnock and said he wants out, sad really - could have been a different player with a proper manager giving some focus.
Better be a decent fee

Thanks. I read the BBC report when it was first published through NewsNow and it was only half the length of the one in the link above. They must have expanded it later. I agree it raises questions about what changed between January and now. Maybe Warnock was happy to have Huws as a bench option in the second half of last season but doesn't see him as part of a changed squad for next season.
