' CARDIFF CITY ARE IN POLE POSITION TO SIGN '

According to The Scottish papers, Cardiff City are in pole position to sign Callum Paterson despite some recent interest from Rangers.

Wednesday 24th May 2017

Scottish Premiership giants Rangers are looking to swoop late and snatch Paterson from Cardiff’s grasp but the promising full back is set for a switch to Wales.

According to this report, Callum Paterson was impressed after talks with Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock and is keen to join the Championship outfit.

Predominantly a right back, Paterson has also played up front and he has an eye for goal.

The Scotland international is regarded as one of the most talented young Scottish prospects so a move to the English league could benefit his future.

Rangers are planning a late raid for the 22-year-old and Derby have previously been interested but Cardiff are leading the race.

It is believed that the London-born star would cost about £400,000 in training compensation as he continues to recover from a long-term injury which ruled him out of a possible January move away from Hearts.

i know hes had quite a serious injury, but as long as hes able to take part in a full pre season training program i see nothing wrong in this.

I like Peltier, but that doesnt mean we shouldnt aspire to have better quality and more choice.
