Rickie Lambert and Frederic Gounongbe

Rickie Lambert and Frederic Gounongbe will have to rip up trees during pre-season to secure a spot in Neil Warnock’s immediate plans, personally I would get rid of both players, but their wages are the problem.

And another interesting one is Anthony Pilkington who hasn’t always been a favourite of Warnock’s.

The Ireland international has had an average season with injury playing its part in an inconsistent campaign.

Team-mate Craig Noone is set to depart after being added to the transfer list this summer, and the feeling is that Anthony Pilkington will need to step up his game to avoid the same fate.

Lamberts wages are an issue. I think we are doing a good job in reducing the wages overall and the big earners on 20k+ are getting less and less.

Fingers crossed someone else can take him but im afraid we are stuck for another year
