Says alot about football fans these days. On MOTD just now S'oton fans were booing their players for having a crap game yet 4 or 5 years ago they were in the lower leagues and shit. Very quick to forget the bad times and get ahead of themselves the modern football fans are. So short sighted it's unreal.
Really, even if you get relegated, however sad it may be for a week or two it isn't as bad as people make out. All teams go up and down at some point, they have to, it's called the law of the game and where would we be without them? Correct! In a pointless league like The MLS or SPFL, Bundesliga, La Liga, the list is endless. At least ours is competitive and interesting, so just enjoy it. Or if you want to see your team win every week go support Bayern/Real/Barca in their mickey mouse leagues.
I actually thought we played quite well last night. Not for the whole game but we moved it about fairly well, had more of the chances but were let down by finishing and aptitude in the final third. And we had to be beaten by two really good goals.
Yes some players are finished with us and are no longer good enough but that is as inevitable and certain as death and taxes. Again, it happens at every single club throughout the world.
Sorry I didn't mean for this to be so much of an essay, it just came out.
