Newcastle fans in home end

Fri Apr 28, 2017 11:39 pm

Did anyone else notice this? I had a Newcastle fan (and his partner) sat next to me all game. The stewards told me that there was nothing that they could do to move them. He was singing along with Newcastle songs all night under his breath. Even fans around me we're having a go at me for complaining. What us wrong with this club where this is considered acceptable?

modern football mate.
then some one sparks him and its photos of him in hospital and bully boy headlines. the stewards should have escorted them around to the away end the minute they realised or thrown them out.

Are you for real?
You went and asked a steward to move a couple of Newcastle fans because one of them was singing songs under his breath.

My word, you really went to a steward over this??

How dare someone like another team eh? As long as he wasn't inciting trouble (which sounds the case considering he was muttering the songs under his breath) then what is the issue?? Fans of seperate teams sit togeter in nearly every sport the world over, football has moved on.

thats why clubs take the trouble to have away ends. away tickets . early kick offs, RV points, travel club meetings, away memberships, stewards, cameras, police in attendance, and rows of empty seats for segregation .
you need to be let out the basement mate. ive seen fighting erupt at rugby {both codes} boxing{outside the ring }.horse racing.an NFL game, darts and in football stadia in different parts of the planet.

Away membership is a money spinner, it essentially gives the club another games revenue. Early kick offs are usually for bitter rivals with a history of local hatred or for TV scheduling reasons. I dont think Swansea have experienced an RV point for any game other than the derby. Stewards are at every single sporting event whether fans are seperated or not. Segregation is there for legislative purposes, cameras are at every sportinig venue.

Its a spill over from another generation, it isn't implemented because it is desperately needed. It is traditional more than anything. Police presence is there just incase, you get the odd idiot now and again just like in any crowd of thousands. But football has moved on, its becoming a family affair. I think you need to realise it isnt the 1980's any more. Fans in the home end is a regular occurance for "normal" matches. You just dont notice coz it isnt really an issue.

It shouldn't be allowed that's the whole point of segregation ffs and our club won't let us swap ends because they are scared of trouble but have no problem with away fans singing songs in our stand? Double standards.

If you or anyone else is compelled to attack another human being for quietly singing a song in support of their team then I can only offer sympathy.

The away tickets went on general sale and didn't sell out. Any Newcastle fan should have bought a ticket through st James park.

Not only did I not imply this but I've never swung a punch at a football match, so save your sympathy for your own fans, they need it!

Then you will agree it isnt an issue then. Good

As for sympathy for my own fans, you are one of my piggest fans at the moment.

I'm not the only person at a football match. My issue was double standards at the CCS anyway something that absolutely does not concern your incestuous self. But that aside I'm not suprised you don't mind the mixed fans jacks are all egg first, I understand.

Just ignore him mate, he is a tool. Its not rocket science to work out that away fans should be in the away end. Why Annis lets him on here is beyond me and why he keeps coming back under different aliases is disturbing.

Hence why I said you or anyone else.

I mind mixed fans at our ground as we sell out, it means ine of our own fans went without, which is the main reason for segregated areas. But in your ground you have about 13,000 empty seats, its hardly an issue if some Cardiff based newcastle fans couldnt get tickets via the normal means and went in your end. But then I think like a normal person.

Yes what a tool, I cannot fathom why anybody would think that with 13,000 empty seats someone sitting in one that likes someone else is worthy of violence.

Nobody "lets" anyone on an internet forum, its an internet forum. Anyone can post, I come and go as I pease. I would assume I am desired on here as I am the one bringing most of the common sense to the threads, rather than the feeding time at the zoo trainwrecks of threads when I am not around. :D

Took me a touch longer to clock on this time mate haha I'll enjoy watching him argue with himself now everyone knows who he is.

Surely the fact I am sensible would give you a clue that I am a sensible guy. Where is the fun with arguing with someone who is clearly right?
