He's still better than most of our midfield and better than most in the Championship. His replacement needs to be Prem quality and that's not going to be cheap and very hard to find.

over 10 years playing for one club. thats longer than most of our current fans have suported Cardiff. the season before he arrived we averaged 11k at home.
i think most of Whitts admirers {myself included} realise he clearly isnt part of NWs plans and therefore must leave.{id have preferred the manager to say that instead of this contract offer nonsense.

what i will say though is that each of the 10 years he has been here we have WASTED at least 10 times his wages each and every season on players whose contribution is next to zero.hardly play or are constantly injured or just plain shit.. and next year will not be any different.

I doubt he'll be short of offers though,he'll probably get a 2yr deal with someone.

Really hope he gets one more year he is a quality player , be sad to see him go , I still feel he has something to offer , he's better than most of our midfield now . He's one of those players who I feel once he's gone some of his critics will see what he actually did for the team

If indeed this was his last game it was a poor show from the manager.

That was my immediate reaction when he was subbed.

Whatever anyone thinks about his play he has been ours for 10 years and I for one will treasure what I saw if his play.

Should have been announced, should have finished the game, and should been given a standing ovation.

Some saying he should of been allowed to stay on till the end. But Warnock is paid to manage and make the tough decisions. Whitts wasn't having a good game so Warnock decided to take him off which gave the fans and him a chance to say goodbye.
Yes I feel it was WARNOCKS duty to shake his hand for his services.
But it's a harsh world as I said in my previous post on here I retired after 30 years and I didn't so much even get a thank you off management for 30 years loyalt. It's the way the world goes round.
Whits isn't worth the 25K a week as he used to but the guy must be loaded and set for life for himself and the kids. Is Whitts still a squad player ? Yes I believe personally he is but on a vastly reduced wage to fit his new role 5K a week that is still 20K a month which any of us could only dream of.

Far less strange than a Swansea fan posting on a Cardiff forum. What are you here for? Do you need some more friends or is the swans melt down making planet swamp too unbearable?

You think rival fans posting on eachothers messageboard is stranger than someone who abuses anyone who disagrees with him? I cant help you there then :D

Great post

Of course there are flaws in him as was never prem quality, but in his prime, achieved good results for the club due to his ball-striking qualities

youve made your feelings more than clear with your daily lets slaughter Whitts threads.
so stop grasping at straws and making out ive said things i clearly did not.my facts are simply facts.and you know they are but still cant swallow them.
im not going to name the other 200 pple involved over 10 years because some relate to some things but none of them relate to ALL those facts. none. not an owner or manager or a coach or any other player not even the stadium so there is no injustice
my point is if you missed it is we have been a bit short on legends and heros. no best or greaves or dalglish a walk around our concorse will show you that.along comes a guy who is part of our best period for almost a century. chalks up loads of apps and goals. and on the day of probably his last game for the club people cant wait to have a dig.

Some jealousy coming out there doggybag. I knew this obsession was unhealthy but its clearly worse than I thought. what has being here during games got to do with it I will never know, it is an internet site not a physical place. I can be on Ebay during a game too, doesnt mean I have to travel to America and miss the game now does it. Come on think now doggy, I know you get all worked up and flustered and start abusing, but try and have a sensible conversation. It wont be as boring for others.

Oh see you're on your high horse again, Am I not allowed a opinion or will you run off to Annis as my posts do not agree with you blinkered views or is it just my posts you droll over to class as 'shocking ' .

If he signs fair enough if he doesn't TOUGH , the gravy train finishing at CCFC means for ALL players and holding out and not signing is just making Warnock's job harder, now if's that's a 'shocking' post go read someone else's, you got an ignore button.
