I don't agree with testimonials full stop. Generally, pro footballers get a good wage and are pretty much made for life whatever they choose to do when their career ends (8K per week equals 32K per month equals approx 400K per year for an average career of 10 years on a top wage

I do agree but super Kev is doing it for charity not himself. Just gives him a chance to say thanks to everyone for letting him shag there wives

I didn't know that so hats off to him

Yeah he shagged most of the fans wives Chief shocked you didn't know ;) Didn't you ever do a night shift ? If so Kev's 's been round  :notworthy: :notworthy: :laughing6:

Was going to go, but when I realised it was on Mother's Day I had no choice but to pull out. Going around my elderly mother in laws for dinner, if I didn't go, my missus would never let me forget it. Not worth the hassle. Gutted!

In my opinion this is a sad situation all round, as far as I can see and I stand to be corrected they have not even made it clear it is for Charity.

I will be, like most people lucky enough to still have their mothers with us I would have imagined, be spending the afternoon having a family lunch.

Kevin Mcnaughton is a Cardiff City legend in my eyes though for many reasons, I'm not buying a ticket but am going to donate £10 to Ty Hafan and will stick him name on the reference. Id rather the money went entirely to them.

Where are all the supporters that were crying out for this match. Without supporter pressure this would not have been done. I personally don't think this is justified and now it's going to be an embarrassment.

The match only went ahead due to fans pressure/media pressure.

But then the club puts it on Mothering Sunday and when thousands of City fans are away.

They could of done it on many many other Sundays or in the Summer before the season kicks off.

Should have been in July, many more thousands would have gone.
