But City Manager Neil Warnock told Cardiff City Player that, because it was against his old club, he didn't feel good about the game.

'With the situation Rotherham are in I'd rather be playing Newcastle or Brighton.

'I was glad to see the second goal go in at half-time and even more happy to see the third one go in because I knew that was the killer.

'I was disappointed with four or five in the first half which I told them about and I thought they responded and we were a lot better as a team in the second half and we didn't really give them (Rotherham) a look in in the second half.

'But what soured everything was Rhys Healey's injury. We think he's done both his ligament and it was a nothing injury we think his studs got caught in the turf. And he's done so well for us it's such a shame.

'But it's difficult for Rotherham. They've got the two lads from here on loan that can't play, they're decimate with injuries including Wardy (Danny Ward) who is their best striker. I've been there so I know how difficult it is.

'So whilst it's a great win I don't take any satisfaction at all from seeing the position Rotherham are in.'
