Bristol Rovers have informed six players that they are no long part of the plans at the League One club.

“Mark McChrystal, Liam Lawrence, Jermaine Easter, Will Puddy, Tyler Lyttle and Jay Malpas are the players involved and I have told them that they will no longer be considered for selection for the first team," manager Darrell Clarke told the club's official website.
“It was a tough decision to make, but by making it now it gives these players, who remain under contract with Bristol Rovers, the opportunity to find themselves a new club."
