Eli Phipps
The 19-year-old has joined League Two side Colchester United after failing to make a Bluebirds' first team appearance in his two years in South Wales.
The Welshman has signed a deal until 2018 with the Us after impressing on loan at Gloucester City.
Colchester under-23 boss Wayne Brown said: "We've signed Eli as he's a talented young prospect.
"We've looked at both our first team and under-23 squads and what improvements we need to make and we will always look at external players to see if they will fit into our club and Eli does that.
"He's one for the future but he's one who will strengthen our squad and any successful team looks to strengthen when they can.
"He's a number nine and he's technically very good."
Tom James
Former Wales Under-19 defender Tom James has joined Yeovil Town on a free transfer after having his Cardiff contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 20-year-old made just a single Cardiff appearance in three years with the club, coming on as a substitute in the Bluebirds' Premier League defeat to Chelsea in May 2014.
He was thought to have a big future in South Wales, but was this month deemed surplus to requirements and joined up with the League Two Glovers.
David Tutonda
Another player who never made an impression in the Bluebirds' first team squad despite impressing in loan spells at York City and Newport County.
The Congolese player is capable of playing at full back on either flank and was a mainstay of Cardiff's Under-23 side.
But the 21-year-old has now linked up with Barnet on a two-year deal, bringing his three-year affiliation with the Bluebirds to a close.
A statement on the Cardiff City website said: "We’d like to thank David for his time with the Bluebirds and wish him the very best of luck for the future."
Tommy O'Sullivan
The 22-year-old midfielder hasn't left the club yet, but Colchester United boss John McGreal is keen to bring the Mountain Ash-born player to the League Two club to link up with Phipps.
O'Sullivan has had loan stints with Newport and Port Vale and has been impressing McGreal on trial with the Us in the past fortnight.
McGreal said : “We are keeping an eye on Tommy O’Sullivan. He played 45 minutes the other day, and he has wanted to be involved with the first-team training.
That’s where he wants to pitch himself.
Theo Wharton
Wharton is another on trial at a club, with former Cardiff boss Russell Slade running the rule over the 21-year-old box-to-box midfielder with a view to signing him on a free transfer for Coventry City.
Wharton, who has come through the youth ranks with Cardiff, has made two first team appearances — both in the FA Cup. He has featured for Wales at age group level but since committed himself to St Kitts & Nevis. He is the Godson of Bluebirds' legend Nathan Blake.

If they work hard who knows but being a Championship
Club we need them to be ready at 16-18 not 20-22.
